Privacy has become a huge issue on social networks. Specifically, video privacy on websites like YouTube is important. Many people are unaware of the effects of their privacy being invaded and the precautions you can take. When posting videos to YouTube, you can allow only certain viewers to view the videos. You can keep your privacy settings tight on the videos, however, your privacy is not always protected. Many people don't realize that your privacy is always at risk. More and more people now-a-days are taking videos and pictures of strangers and posting them on sites such as Flickr and YouTube. This is an invasion of your privacy. Jacqueline Lipton discusses in her article that there are ways to protect yourself from privacy invasion and there are legal actions that can be taken, many people just are not aware of this.

After researching and writing out my input for the Wikipedia page on the privacy in social media, I had a breakdown when posting it to the site. Core Value #4 got the best of me. The evolving technologies of writing became overwhelming for me because I could not figure out how to edit the page with my writing on it. As you can see on the actual page, the headings are usually in bold font and bigger such as it says Classification of social media. I could not figure out how to bold the font like that, so I just made it the same size as the regular writing and added a colon to show that it was a heading.
